Abstract: This article is based on a year and a half of research related to the 'Procès filmés' (filmed trials), mainly oriented to the V13 trial, and my current work about the media coverage of the Brussels 2016 terrorist attacks. Through empirical observations at the Paris and Brussels courts, and crossed interviews with journalists who came at the trials: our research intends to show how accurate this specialized journalism can be. As a mirror of the French and Belgian societies, we questioned the dimensions of communication, (social) media usage and justice. By studying specific aspects of the production of the RTBF and Le Soir journalists, we have focused our attention on the main trials regarding co-defendants who were prosecuted both in France and Belgium between 2021 and 2023.

Les procès des attentats terroristes, à Paris et Bruxelles, vus par deux médias belges 

Résumé : Cette recherche se base sur un an et demi de travail sur les Procès filmés, particulièrement sur le procès V13 (à propos des attentats du vendredi 13 novembre 2015, couramment appelé V13), et sur travail journalistique autour du procès jugeant des responsabilités dans les attentats du 22 mars 2016 à Bruxelles. Nous aboutissons un travail d’observation depuis les salles d’audience de Paris et Bruxelles, des séries d’entretiens croisés avec des journalistes venus aux procès. Et cette recherche montre combien ce journalisme spécialisé est pointu.Véritable miroir des sociétés française et belge, nous nous sommes focalisé spécifiquement sur la communication, les usages des réseaux socio-numériques et la justice. A partir de la couverture de ces procès par les journalistes de la RTBF et Le Soir, il s’agit d’éclairer aussi la mise en lumière de certains accusés qui ont été jugés à la fois en France et en Belgique, durant les procès respectifs entre 2021 et 2023.
