Perceptions des journalistes vs des médecins sur les sujets de santé dans les médias traditionnels au Maroc
Main Article Content
Abstract
In Morocco, there are recurring conflicts between physicians and journalists. In this study, we aim to describe and analyze journalists' perceptions of health topics in the traditional media, comparing them with those of doctors. Journalists and doctors agree on the usefulness and importance of the traditional media as a communication instrument, and they are all aware of the impact of the media on behavior. However, they differ on everything related to content, including quantity, quality and reliability. This seems to be related to the difference in paradigms and agendas of the two professions, which necessitates a dialogue between the two communities so that all parties can understand each other's profession and priorities in order to collaborate effectively for the benefit of the Moroccan population's health.
